Accessibility Statement

Last updated: November 2026

Custom Robotics of La Jolla is committed to making customrobotics.io accessible to as many people as reasonably possible, including people who use assistive technologies or alternative input methods. CRLJ is working to improve the accessibility and usability of its digital content and to incorporate accessibility into website design, content development, and ongoing maintenance.

1. Accessibility Approach

CRLJ’s goal is to align the website, where reasonably practicable, with recognized web accessibility practices such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This is a target and a commitment to continuous improvement, not a representation that every page or third-party component will be free of every accessibility issue at all times.

2. Testing to Date

As of October 2026, CRLJ has reviewed the website using automated accessibility checks, keyboard-only navigation, and browser zoom and text enlargement at desktop, tablet, and phone screen sizes, and has made corrections based on those reviews.

Still to be completed: testing with screen readers such as NVDA and VoiceOver, and confirmation of captions for videos on the website. Some pages may not yet reflow fully when text is enlarged to 200% on small phone screens. CRLJ is working to address these items.

3. Website Features We Aim to Support

  • Semantic headings and logical reading order
  • Descriptive link text and keyboard navigation
  • Visible focus indicators and sufficient color contrast
  • Resizable text and accessible forms with clear validation messages
  • Meaningful alternative text for informative images
  • Captions or transcripts for important video content
  • Reduced-motion support for animation and scroll-based content

4. Documents and Downloads

CRLJ makes reasonable efforts to publish important PDFs, white papers, and downloadable materials in accessible formats. If a document is not accessible to you, contact CRLJ to request an alternative format where reasonably available.

5. Interactive Graphics and Motion

Because the CRLJ website uses interactive diagrams, robotics animations, data visualizations, and scroll-based storytelling, CRLJ aims to provide equivalent text descriptions, keyboard access, reduced-motion support, and non-visual alternatives where necessary for meaningful content.

6. Third-Party Content

Some third-party services used or linked by the website — such as the HubSpot cookie banner, where shown, and CRLJ’s LinkedIn, X, and YouTube pages — are outside CRLJ’s direct control. CRLJ encourages third-party providers to support accessible experiences but cannot guarantee the accessibility of external services.

7. Feedback and Assistance

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, need help using the website, or require content in another format, please contact CRLJ. Providing the page URL, a description of the issue, the assistive technology or browser used, and your preferred contact method helps CRLJ investigate and respond.

8. Contact

Accessibility inquiries: info@customrobotics.io.

9. Ongoing Improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing process. CRLJ periodically reviews the website, updates content and code, tests new features, and addresses identified issues as the site evolves.
