Trust & Security

CRLJ Assured™ — A Developing Trust Standard for Robotics.

CRLJ Assured™ is CRLJ's developing robotics trust and assurance framework. It is designed to bring Human Understanding, Security & Data Protection, monitoring, and Independent Third-Party Validation together under one recognizable designation.

CRLJ Assured™ is a developing CRLJ framework. It is not a government certification, regulatory approval, or government endorsement.

The Progression

Four Tiers, Increasing Depth of Evaluation.

Each tier describes a different depth of evaluation. All tiers are in development and none are presented as commercially established programs.

  1. Tier 01

    Skollar Enabled™

The autonomous system incorporates CRLJ technology supporting human-readable communication, operational transparency, and Security & Data Protection visibility.

  2. Tier 02

    CRLJ Monitored™

The autonomous system is monitored against defined operating, communication, security, and data-protection conditions.

  3. Tier 03

    Independent Third-Party Validation

Objective evaluation against defined CRLJ requirements using documented evidence, performed by a party other than the manufacturer.

  4. Tier 04

    CRLJ Assured™

CRLJ Assured™ is being developed as a trust designation for autonomous systems evaluated against defined CRLJ requirements for communication, Security & Data Protection, transparency, monitoring and trusted human-ready deployment.

What It Is

A Way to Say What Has Been Evaluated.

A common framework

In development

One structure for describing what was evaluated, against which requirements, and within what stated scope.

A scope statement

In development

A designation is meaningful only when it says what it covers — and what it does not.

An evidence record

In development

Documented results rather than assertions, reviewable by the organizations deploying the system.

A recognizable signal

In development

A consistent way for operators, integrators, and the public to recognize evaluated robotics.

What It Is Not

Clarity Matters More Than Marketing.

CRLJ states the limits of the framework directly so that the designation cannot be misread.

Not a government certification

CRLJ Assured™ is a CRLJ program. It is not issued, recognized, or required by any government body.

Not a regulatory approval

A designation does not establish compliance with any statute, regulation, or procurement requirement.

Not a guarantee

No designation can guarantee that a system is safe, secure, or free from vulnerability, misuse, or incident.

Not a substitute for cybersecurity

Enterprise security programs, network controls, and data governance remain the responsibility of the deploying organization.

CRLJ Assured™ is a developing CRLJ framework and is not a government certification, regulatory approval, or government endorsement. No government body — including the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, or any CMMC authority — has approved, endorsed, or recognized this framework. Program definitions remain subject to finalization.

Next Step

Help Shape the Trust Standard Robotics Will Need.

CRLJ is working with OEMs, integrators, operators, and validation organizations to define what an assurance designation for robotics should require.
